Description of Program

Alyssa Trudell, Manager Total Rewards at Goodwill Industries of Southeastern WI, will facilitate discussion on best practices and trends around current ‘hot’ topics in Compensation.  Engage in virtual discussion with peers on topics that you have questions about.  We have listened to you, and incorporated your feedback from surveys and virtual roundtable sessions! Here is a list of the planned topics for discussion: 

• Employee Value Proposition (EVP) – discuss how EVPs are important relating to compensation, both for internal employees and external candidates
• Job Evaluation Techniques – best practices on job evaluation strategies that lead into compensation structure design
• Annual Increases/Merit – some organizations may continue with standard annual increase practice, but are others getting creative? Let’s find out…
• Variable Pay Programs – during the pandemic, all we hear is sign-on bonus, premium pay, differentials, etc.). What’s the best strategy to stay competitive?
• Your Choice – discuss any other ‘hot’ Compensation topics, and pick the brains of your local network!
